You Can Now Take a Virtual Tour of Drake’s Toronto Mansion

If you ever wanted to step inside Drake’s Toronto mansion in the city’s opulent and one percent-filled Bridle Path neighbourhood, now’s your chance.

And you don’t even have to splurge on a celeb-worthy outfit to feel at home (but it makes it simple to do so…more of that later).

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Drake’s Billboard chart-topping and Grammy-winning album Take Care, his brand has launched a virtual experience at drakerelated.com that takes visitors within a representation of the homegrown artist’s storied Toronto property.

The initiative is actually part of a clever marketing strategy that uses Drake’s sprawling 50,000-square-foot home as a backdrop to sell the artist’s merchandise and albums.

The tour starts outside of the home, from which visitors can follow links to a lounge, bedroom, and recording studio. Visitors are welcome to visit the bedroom with the lights on or off, with a single click transforming the space for evening, with the addition of dozens of candles and a suddenly dishevelled bed.

Links to a closet, basketball court, and a garage appear to be coming soon.

Each room is filled with strategically placed products that visitors can click on to shop themselves. This includes items from Drake’s October’s Very Own (OVO) apparel line, his fragrance “Wet” By Drake, Certified Lover Boy apparel, and items from Better World Fragrance House and El Chico Studios.

In his magic-making studio, Drake fans will find links to the artist’s celebrated works, like famed albums Take Care and Lover Boy and breakout mixtape So Far Gone. Visitors can also easily click on links to record labels OVO Sound and Sound 42.

Of course, Drake’s mansion is no secret to Toronto residents (which is why Drake found it amusing when Kanye tried to “leak” his address). The musician has spoken publicly about the pricy property and it is even on Google Maps.
