Designstor Founder Nick Moshenko Joins Avesdo as Chief Product Officer

Yesterday, Nick Moshenko took to LinkedIn to announce that he had assumed the role of Chief Product Officer (CPO) at Avesdo.

An industry leader in real estate technology, Avesdo provides tech-enabled services that help developers transact tens of thousands of homes worth billions of dollars.

“As Avesdo’s CPO, I will lead the product team overseeing product management, product design, and UX/UI to continue the evolution of Avesdo’s new home transaction management software platform. I’ve always relished the idea of building software, and I intend to use my experience in the residential development community — particularly here in the Toronto area — to build on an already great product and service,” wrote Moshenko on the professional networking site.

Moshenko is no stranger to the design tech space. His background includes founding celebrated architectural visualization company Designstor, which has created innovative renderings, animations, and interactive works to help visualize and sell new developments since 2000.

Designstor is a leader in creating renderings, animations, and experiences for the marketing and sales of new development real estate throughout North America. At Designstor, Moshenko built a highly successful team of artists, programmers and technicians, and has led initiatives to develop leading-edge technology solutions including advanced VR and AR experiences.

“For 30 years I’ve worked alongside developers providing technology tools and visuals as they evolved how they market and sell new homes…  as they move into selling through digital sales platforms, Avesdo is the logical next step for me to continue to support this pursuit,” Moshenko told STOREYS.

In the same LinkedIn update, Moshenko announced that colleague at Designstor Nathan Tung would move into a director tole at the rendering company. “Nathan has piloted many of our largest and most complex projects, is a very talented artist and has a natural ability to lead. If you’ve worked with Designstor, there’s a good chance that you know Nathan already. If you don’t know Nathan, let me tell you this: you’ll be in extremely capable hands,” he wrote.

With his role at Avesdo completely remote, Moshenko will continue to work from the Designstor office as he makes forward-thinking moves for Avesdo.

“Developers have trusted Nick as a leader in the new home digital sales and marketing world for many years. We are excited to have him lead our product team to continue to evolve our TMS platform with new functionality and refined user experience,” says Avesdo president Ben Smith.
